Flasher You know 'brain machines'? Those things that are like a set of goggles with lights in that flash in time with your brainwaves and send you into an altered state? Those things that cost about 100 quid each? Well, here's one done in software, for NOTHING!
Just run the software, set the options, close your eyes and sit near to your monitor. And read the supplied readme before use! WARNING: May do strange things to your mind. Read the readme file for the disclaimer.
Rotate Colours This piece of software sits in Windows memory and changes your Windows colours (title bar colour, background colour, etc.) to random colours at random intervals. Useful to annoy people. To uninstall, just bring up the task manager and end it, and reset the colour scheme using the Colour control panel. WARNING: Messes up your computer, although probably not permanently.
Icon Frightener You'll never click on an icon again! Moves your icons away from the mouse pointer. WARNING: Oh fuck it, I can't be bothered with these any more.
Top Cat A little cat follows your mouse pointer around the screen. Cute.
The Hacker Crackdown The Project Gutenberg Etext of Bruce Sterling's The Hacker Crackdown, a book about computer hackers in the 80s. Definitely worth reading.
